Online Shopping & General
Where can I buy Hercules marquees and accessories?
You can shop online with us anytime, or come see the range in person at our stores in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth — our team's happy to walk you through it and help you pick the right setup. For custom or bespoke orders, it's best to get a quote from us directly. You'll find store locations and details on our [Contact Us] page.
Do I get a warranty?
You do. Every new product comes with a limited manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, valid for the original purchaser from the date of purchase. How long depends on the model — our frames are covered from 3 years right up to a lifetime (see the model range further down). The full terms are in our Warranty Policy.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver right across Australia, from our Brisbane warehouse to anywhere in the country.
Is my payment secure on your website?
Absolutely. Payments are handled by trusted providers — major credit and debit cards, PayPal and Zip Pay — so your transaction stays protected from start to finish, and your financial details are never shared with us.
How can I pay?
However suits you best: major credit and debit cards, PayPal and Zip Pay online, or cash and card in person at our Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth stores.
What does delivery cost?
Freight varies by order — it depends on the size, weight and where it's going. The easiest way to see your exact cost is to add what you want to the cart and pop in your delivery address; the freight is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Need a hand? [Contact us]
How long will my order take to arrive?
In-stock items are usually dispatched within 1–3 working days once your order's processed, then sent by courier with tracking emailed to you. Delivery time from there depends on your location. Custom-printed marquees take around 2–4 weeks to produce before they ship. If an item's out of stock at our Brisbane warehouse but available at one of our other stores, we'll send it straight from there — it may just take a little longer.
Can I collect my order from a store?
Yes — most online orders can be picked up from our Brisbane, Melbourne or Perth stores. Just choose "pick up" at checkout instead of entering delivery details, and we'll email you when it's ready. Bring a valid photo ID and your order number when you collect.
Will I get a notification when my order's ready for pick-up?
You will — we'll email you once your order's placed, and again when it's ready to collect (worth checking your spam folder just in case). If anything's temporarily out of stock, we'll be in touch to sort out a solution. If you're hoping to collect quickly, let us know and we'll do our best.
What if my order arrives damaged or something's missing?
Every order is checked before it leaves our warehouse, but couriers can be rough. If a package is clearly damaged before you open it, don't sign for it or accept it — the courier will return it to us. If you spot damage or a missing item after delivery, get in touch within 24 hours and we'll arrange a prompt fix or resend. More detail is on our [Warranty & Returns] page.
Can I return a product?
If something's not right, get in touch and we'll sort it out in line with our [Warranty & Returns]. One thing to note: custom-printed items can't be returned for change-of-mind once they're made to your design, which is exactly why we confirm every mock-up with you before anything goes to print.
About Our Marquees
What is a pop-up marquee?
A pop-up marquee is a portable, commercial-grade shelter built for fast setup and serious outdoor use. The concertina frame comes pre-assembled and simply pops up into place in about a minute — no tools, no loose parts — then folds back down to pack away and reuse. It's the shade solution behind markets, schools, sports clubs, councils and business events: easy to move, and tough enough to use again and again.
What's the difference between a pop-up marquee and a pop-up gazebo?
They're the same kind of product — a folding, pop-up shelter — but "marquee" reflects what ours are built for: commercial-grade frames made for repeated, professional use, not one-off backyard shade. A Hercules marquee uses heavier-gauge framing, reinforced joints and a thick 500D PVC-coated canopy, so it holds up to markets and events season after season. All the convenience of a pop-up, built to a much higher standard.
Why shouldn't I just buy a cheap gazebo?
A cheap gazebo is built down to a price, and it shows — they tend to bend, tear or blow away after a handful of outings. A lot of our customers come to us after exactly that. A commercial-grade Hercules marquee uses stronger framing, reinforced joints and a heavy-duty canopy, with replaceable parts and engineer-certified frames — so it lasts, and it works out cheaper over time than replacing a budget gazebo every season.
What marquee models does Hercules offer?
Our range covers six commercial-grade frames to suit every budget and level of use:
- [Light]— our most affordable entry frame; a simple, lightweight option for occasional or budget-conscious use. 3-year frame warranty.
- [HEX 45S] — our steel frame; heavy, tough and stable. 7-year frame warranty.
- [HEX 45A] — our best-selling lightweight aluminium frame; easy to handle. 7-year frame warranty.
- [PRO 40] — a professional square-leg aluminium frame. 15-year frame warranty.
- [PRO 57] — our classic heavy-duty flagship; 57mm alloy legs. Lifetime frame warranty.
- [PRO MAG] — our premium magnesium flagship; commercial strength with much lighter handling. Lifetime frame warranty.
We also offer a range of canopy colours and accessories to go with them.
Which model should I choose?
It really comes down to how often and how hard you'll use it.
The Light and HEX 45S suit occasional or budget use; the HEX 45A is our all-rounder best-seller for markets, small business and regular use; the PRO 40 steps up for clubs and schools; and the PRO 57 and PRO MAG are built for clubs, schools, city councils, hire, events and high-frequency commercial use.
Still weighing it up? Have a look at our buying guide or contact us and we'll match a marquee to your use and budget.
Are Hercules marquees heavy-duty?
That's the whole idea. Our marquees are easy to put up and take down thanks to the unique concertina frame, and they're built for dependable sturdiness event after event. The canopy is waterproof, fire-retardant and UV-treated, and with six frame options and two fabric choices, there's a setup for everyone. Look after it well and a Hercules marquee will give you years of reliable service.
Are Hercules marquees easy to set up?
Very. All our frames use a concertina system that pops up in as little as 60 seconds — no tools, no assembly. A 3x3m is comfortable for one or two people; the larger sizes go up easiest with two.
Are the canopies waterproof and UV-treated?
Yes — the canopy and sidewalls are made from quality imported fabric. The standard 500D PVC-coated polyester is fully waterproof, fire-resistant and UV-treated, with double-stitched seams, built to handle Australia's harsh sun and sudden downpours. It's a genuinely protective shelter, designed so you, your family or your team stay comfortable and covered.
Are Hercules marquees wind-rated?
They are — our frames are engineer-certified to Australian Standard AS 1170.2, with wind ratings from 50 km/h up to 80 km/h depending on the model and size. That said, we'd never recommend leaving any marquee up in strong winds or unattended — nature always wins, so when the weather turns, take it down.
Can I leave a marquee up in high winds, heavy rain, or overnight?
A pop-up marquee is built for shade and shelter, not to ride out a storm. It's risky to leave one up in extreme weather no matter how well prepared you are. Always secure it with pegs, guy ropes and leg weights, and never assume the wind won't pick up — storms and gusts arrive without warning, especially in the wet season. In heavy rain, make sure water doesn't pool on the canopy, as the weight can cause it to collapse. When in doubt, take it down.
Are sidewalls better on or off in the wind?
Sidewalls are great for shade and privacy, but in wind they act like a sail and can make your marquee slide or lift. If the wind picks up, open or remove the walls so air can pass through. If they have to stay on — say, across a multi-day trade show — lower the marquee, fasten all walls securely, and pay close attention to wind direction; if wind gets underneath and can't escape, that's when a marquee can blow away.
What fabrics are available?
Two options, both quality imported fabrics. The standard is a 500D PVC-coated polyester — the most common, cost-effective choice for everyday use. The upgrade is a premium 580gsm 100% PVC, which performs better if your marquee will be left out in direct sun for long stretches. Every package includes the polyester canopy as standard, with the 100% PVC available as a paid upgrade.
What colours do your supply for the gazebo roof and sidewalls?
Plenty to choose from across both fabrics:
1) Standard 500D PVC-coated polyester:
standard colours: White, Grey, Black, Red, Green, Maroon, Yellow, Navy and Blue, with premium colours available on request.
Please note: standard colours are usually kept in stock, and surcharges apply to non-stocked items accordingly.

2) 580GSM PVC, 100%PVC:
Colour Options: White, Grey, Black, Maroon, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Light Blue, Pink

Please note: standard colours are usually kept in stock, and surcharges apply to non-stocked items accordingly.
How do the sidewalls attach to the canopy?
Easily — sidewalls attach to the edge of the canopy with a 50mm-wide velcro strip, and each wall zips to the next for a neat, sealed finish.
What's the height of a Hercules marquee?

How many people fit under a marquee?

| Size Range | People Standing (Approx.) |
| 2x2m | 6 |
| 2.5x2.5m | 8 |
| 3x3m | 12 |
| 3x4.5m | 18 |
| 3x6m | 24 |
| 4x4m | 26 |
| 4x6m | 40 |
| 4x8m | 52 |
Tell us about your event and we'll help you land on the right size.
How big is the package? What should I do to get ready for my pick up?
Our marquees fold flat and pack into a long, flat carry bag — the package is roughly 160cm long, so it'll fit in a vehicle with the front seat and all back seats down; otherwise a ute or trailer is easiest. A 4m marquee package is around 210cm long. The package is heavy and definitely a two-person lift, so bring a hand when you collect.
Please note the package length of a 4m gazebo is about 210cm. Please check out the package dimensions and weights below before collection.

How do I anchor my marquee?
Every package includes a set of pegs and guy ropes, and you should always use them — your marquee needs to be secured to the ground for stability and to avoid wind damage. For extra hold, or on hard surfaces where you can't peg, add sandbags or steel leg weights to each leg. The right method depends on your surface — see our guide on How To Anchor A Marquee for the details.
How do I care for my marquee so it lasts?
A little care goes a long way: clean the canopy with mild soap and water, steer clear of harsh chemicals, and make sure it's completely dry before you pack it away — storing it damp is the quickest way to get mould. Take it down in extreme weather, and your marquee will reward you with years of service.
If my marquee is damaged, do you offer replacements or repairs?
We do — we keep a full range of spare parts and replacement canopies at low cost, so a damaged or worn part doesn't mean buying a whole new setup. Just let us know what you need.
Can I use a Hercules replacement canopy on another brand's frame?
We wouldn't recommend it — our canopies and parts are made to fit Hercules frames, and other brands use different dimensions, so the fit (and the risk if it doesn't fit) is on you. If you'd really like to try, bring your existing frame into one of our stores and our team's happy to help with a fit-test before you buy.
